The “Friends of Alfie Johnson”raise £5,000
We are delighted to report that the “Friends of Alfie Johnson” Summer Ball 2011 held on the 24th June 2011 raised around £5,000 for Alfie.
Guests around the Lewis Smith & Co. table were very quick to put their hands in their pockets to contribute to the raffle but not quite quick enough with the bidding for the charity auction.
The entertainment laid on by the “Friends” was excellent but Alfie’s Dad brought silence and some tears to the proceedings with his tribute to his little boy and thanks to the money raisers.
Lewis Smith & Co. looks forward to supporting the next Alfie Johnson fund raising event.
